Sigma Chi Fraternity

Sigma Chi at Santa Clara’s mission is to produce not only better men, but truer leaders, individuals who are not only willing to change the world but who also possess the knowledge necessary to do so. Here we make a twofold promise to recruit, develop, and graduate great men, as well as to clarify and expand upon those brothers’ values and to teach them the practical knowledge necessary to go out and be great leaders too.

 

The chapter seeks to accomplish this mission by creating a community of like-minded yet diverse individuals and creating a culture of responsibility and accountability where a brother is held liable for their mistakes and praised for their achievements. In this unique environment, brothers are provided experiential learning opportunities and growth experiences that allow them to develop the skills that are so needed in this world yet so often cannot be taught in a classroom, skills such as teamwork, leadership, and self-discipline.
